The men's Centurion Jacket in black delivers warmth and freedom of movement for hiking and mountaineering. Polartec® Power Air™ concentrates warmth around the body's core, with Polartec® Power Stretch™ through the lower body, side seams and underarms for movement. Polartec® Hardface® technology fuses the fabric together at a fibre level improving wind, water and tear resistance.
Polartec® Power Air™ covers the upper body and hood, using air- and fibre-trapping bubbles to hold warmth close to the body while staying breathable during high-output effort. A Polartec® Hardface® finish is applied to the surface, improving resistance to snagging and pilling in the field. The fabric carries a PFC-free DWR that sheds light rain and snow, is made from 92% recycled content and sheds five times less microfibre than comparable fabrics.
The lower body, side seams and underarms are cut from Polartec® Power Stretch™, a four-way stretch fabric built on a shape-retaining, stretch-and-recovery knit. Its low-friction, breathable, moisture-wicking dual-surface construction is designed to layer comfortably under a hard shell or over a base layer, and it carries the same PFC-free, PFAS-free DWR finish. Improved fit and body mapping across both fabrics refine how the jacket moves and holds warmth.
Thumb loops, two arm pockets, side pockets and insignia velcro-compatible arm patches add practical storage and coverage, finished with YKK® zips and lengthened pulls. Built for cold-weather layering, from static periods on the hill to sustained movement in the field.
