Santa’s Sack Competition — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern entry into the Santa’s Sack 2025 competition (the “Competition”) run by ThruDark in support of Scotty’s Little Soldiers (the “Charity”). By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

• Promoter

The Competition is organised and administered by ThruDark (the “Promoter”).

• Charity Partnership

The Competition is run in aid of Scotty’s Little Soldiers.

All fundraising totals displayed on the Competition landing page represent the live donation amount raised by participants and supporters.

• Competition Period

The Competition opens on 05/12/25 and closes 24/12/25. Entries received outside this window will not be counted.

• Eligibility

Open to UK residents aged 18 or over.

Employees of the Promoter, the Charity, or prize partners (and their immediate families) are not eligible.

How to Enter

• Entry mechanics will be confirmed on the Competition landing page.
• Santa’s Sack is a Competition giveaway in which entry is made by submitting a donation via the link provided on the landing page. A valid donation is required to be entered into the draw for the chance to win the prizes.
• Participants must provide a valid email address at the point of entry to qualify.
• If an entry is submitted under “anonymous”, it will not be counted, as an email address is required to register the entry.
• No purchase is necessary outside of the required donation to enter. Any donations made during entry are voluntary and non-refundable.

• Fundraising Target

The Promoter aims to raise £10,000 for the Charity.

For context, this amount could fund:

200 x 1:1 emotional support sessions

OR 66 x annual sets of children’s cards/gifts/vouchers

OR 20 x educational grants

OR respite breaks for 10 families at a Scotty Lodge

These examples are illustrative only; the Charity will allocate funds where they are most needed.

• Prizes

A full prize list will be displayed on the landing page and updated as items are confirmed.

Confirmed prizes include:

• £2,000 ThruDark gift voucher
  
• Products from Vivo shoes
  
• Two-night stay at a Shacks cabin
  
• A watch from Elliot Brown
  
• Items from Nebo & Thaw
  
• Two pairs of eyewear from Oakley

• A family of four riding experience from Triumph

• Mr Natty Products
  

Additional prizes may be added when confirmed with supporting partners.

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if required.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Shacks Prize Terms:

The Shacks prize consists of a two-night stay for two adults at a Shacks cabin.

• The stay is subject to availability at the time of booking.
  
• The stay cannot take place between 21st December and 2nd January.
  
• The stay must be taken within 12 months of the winner being notified.
  
• No travel, meals, or additional expenses (including optional extras at the time of booking) are included.
  
• The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other services.
  
• Entrants must be aged 18 or over.

Acceptance of this prize constitutes acceptance of these terms.

• Winner Selection

Winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries.

The draw will take place within 14 days of the Competition closing.

Winners will be contacted using the details provided at entry.

If a winner does not respond within 7 days, the Promoter may draw a replacement winner.

• Data Protection

Personal data will be processed solely for the administration of the Competition and in line with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

Data will not be shared with the Charity unless consent is explicitly given.

• Liability

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for:

lost, incomplete or delayed entries

technical issues affecting entry or participation

inability of winners to receive or use prizes

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, negligence or any matter that cannot legally be excluded.

• Cancellation or Amendment

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its control. Any changes will be communicated through official channels.

• Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
